On the afternoon of July 19, a delegation led by Tang Xi, Chairman of Shanghai Donggeng Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Donggeng Chemical), visited the National Center of Technology Innovation for Smart Process Manufacturing (referred to as the NCTI-SPM). The delegation engaged in discussions with Feng Enbo, Deputy Director of the NCTI-SPM and Professor at East China University of Science and Technology, regarding cooperation in digital transformation and smart factory construction.
Prior to the meeting, Chairman Tang Xi and his delegation, accompanied by Professor Feng Enbo and Professor Li Zhongmei, toured the NCTI-SPM's demonstrations of intelligent manufacturing systems and industrial software solutions.
During the symposium, Chairman Tang Xi highlighted Donggeng Chemical's core business and future development direction. He stated that Donggeng Chemical specializes in continuous chemical production processes and is actively exploring the integration of digital technologies with new materials to drive digital transformation, aiming to achieve more efficient and sustainable production models.
Professor Feng Enbo welcomed the Donggeng Chemical delegation and commended the company's proactive efforts in digital transformation. Professor Li Zhongmei provided a detailed introduction to the NCTI-SPM's development history and flagship products, showcasing the center's profound expertise and innovative capabilities in the field of intelligent process manufacturing.
Chairman Tang Xi also shared the challenges and needs Donggeng Chemical has encountered during its digital transformation journey. He emphasized the strong alignment between Donggeng Chemical's business and the NCTI-SPM's research focus, expressing hope for collaborative efforts to advance digital transformation in the chemical industry.
